This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our expanding ICT team, as the Airport Group enters a new phase of major ICT development.



Assisting the ICT Technician, your role will be to provide a professional, efficient 1st line support to clients throughout the business.A very hands-on role, you will be responsible for logging, reporting and rectifying hardware or software failure, or, escalating/co-ordinating calls as appropriate to the next level of support.You will carry out the installation/re-installation on PC and peripheral equipment as required, ensure all security backup procedures are carried out, maintain and update an IT inventory and act as the main contact for external computer and telephony suppliers.You will also assist users with application familiarity as well as providing user support of business critical software applications.



The Person:



The successful candidate will have experience of supporting MS Windows in a commercial environment and dealing with end users at first level support.Previous experience of having installed software packages, configuring local and network printing are also required.Essential to this role is knowledge of PC hardware and software configuration.Good communication and presentation skills, tact and diplomacy are pre-requisites. A flexible approach is required as some out of normal working hours may be involved from time to time, as may travel between sites. Full UK driver's licence essential.
